Leuchtenbergia principis

Leuchtenbergia principisLeuchtenbergia principis is the only species in this genus from the grasslands of Mexico. Quite rare in habitat, these distinctive, long tubercled, plants grow easily from seed in cultivation. Despite being revered by many collectors, they are not too difficult, though die-back of the tubercles can be unsightly.
