Lobivia leucomalla

Lobivia leucomalla

Lobivias are found in Bolivia, Peru and Argentina. There are many species and a large number of them are popular in cultivation. When not in flower, the globular bodies of many of them are not very exciting, but their flower power makes up for this. Flower colours include yellow (such as L. leucomalla, also known as L. aurea v leucomalla) as well as reds, oranges, pinks and combinations thereof.
