Mammillaria blossfeldiana

Mammillaria blossfeldiana

Mammillaria blossfeldiana, from Baja California, is a smallish clumping Mammillaria with "fish-hook" spines and superb showy flowers. Although this plant has a reputation for losing its roots if over watered, and tends to stay a smallish clump, it does flower freely at an early age and is well worth growing.
