Mammillaria theresae

Mammillaria theresae

Mammillaria theresae, from Durango Mexico, is a member of the series "Longiflorae" making it one of the more cherished of the Mammillarias. It also means it is not the easiest of Mammillarias to grow and keep, though it is easier than some of its relatives such as M. goldii.
Although it is a small bodied plant, it produces these wonderful, large pink flowers.
