Parodias

Parodias

Parodias are deservedly popular in collections, though slightly less common than Mammillarias, Gymnocalyciums and the related Notocacti. These South American cacti are generally globular though some can become elongated and may be solitary or clumping. They tend to be free flowering producing several quite long lasting flowers at a time over a lengthy flowering season. They are generally undemanding in their cultivation requirements.
