Euphorbia canariensis (again!)

Euphorbia canariensisEuphorbia canariensis on hillside

The stand of Euphorbia canariensis pictured left shows how it is happy in a completely different habitat from the previous picture. This time it is pictured at a higher altitude in the hills on the north west of Gran Canaria, north of Mogan. Instead of bear rock it is now growing among quite dense grass.

The photograph on the right shows a large number of stands of E. canariensis covering a quite steeply sloping hillside.
